1. Using this website
By using this website you agree to these terms. Please use the site lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with its security or with other people’s applications.
2. Applications
- Applications are accepted only during the published window.
- Only one application per student, and per email address, is allowed in each school year. Duplicate applications are invalid.
- All information and documents must be true and belong to the applicant. False or misleading information will lead to disqualification, and any grant paid may be recovered.
- Applicants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent.
3. Awards
- Grants are limited to the first 40 qualified applications approved in a school year. Submitting an application does not guarantee an award.
- The amount of each grant is decided by the foundation each year. Decisions of the selection committee are final.
- Grants are paid by direct deposit into the account provided. The foundation is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect bank details.
4. Content
The text, logo and images on this website belong to the Akors Foundation or are used with permission. Please do not reuse them without asking. Beneficiary stories and photos are shared with consent and must not be copied.
5. Changes
We may update these terms and the grant rules from time to time. The version on this page applies to the current cycle.
